Home    Will Your Home WOW Buyers?

First impressions are an important part of our society. Whether you’re finding a date, a job, or a home, the first impression can play a big part in how it all goes down. How can you get your home ready to wow buyers? Here are a few things you can do to make your home stand out above all others!

A new paint job can make an amazing impact on your home! It not only makes your home look years younger, but it also makes it look clean and ready for a new buyer!

Painting the outside gives it great curb appeal, which is important to getting people in the door.

When painting the inside and outside, you want to pick a neutral color. Bold paint colors can keep potential buyers away. Although it would be easy for them to repaint, sometimes it’s difficult for them to see past it. Some also don’t want to have to worry about painting when they move in. It’s a pretty cheap and easy tune-up to do before listing your home.

Front Door

Front doors say a lot about a home and are usually pretty eye-catching.

Try painting your door a different color that compliments the home? What about a nice cherry red, or a mint blue? Again, this is a pretty easy change, but it does wonders for your curb appeal. Or if you don’t want to paint your door, try getting a new one.

Your kitchen is the most important room of your home. It’s the deal breaker for many people, wow buyers with your amazing kitchen!

Do you have old wood cabinets that are looking outdated? Consider a paint job! White is always a favorite, or try out a soothing gray. We’ll help you decide what color will make it all pop!

You also want to replace lighting and fixtures. Adding silver or brass handles to cabinets and drawers can give it that trendy touch. Try some hanging lights above the breakfast bar or island. How about a new dining room light fixture.

These few changes can wow your buyers into making an offer! Make your kitchen something to be proud of!

I know it seems like a no-brainer, but it’s worth noting that you want to do a nice deep clean of your home before you list it. Start packing up your belongings as you clean. Those things that you won’t need for the next little bit – put them in a box!

Make sure everything has a place and that it’s looking amazing! Remember, less is more! Declutter your home and make it look spacious! Again, we will help you know what to pack away and how to arrange everything so it’s “show ready.”

Extra Touches

Whether you’re getting your home ready for the listing pictures or a showing, adding a few extra touches can really wow buyers and make them feel at home! Add some fresh flowers to the kitchen or bathroom counter.

Opening the blinds or shutters to add in extra light is also a big deal. The more natural light, the better.

You’ll also want to make sure that your front and backyard are clean and presentable. Remove any toys or tools that add clutter. Keep it clean and looking gorgeous.
